Shrunken heads are specially prepared human heads that are used for trophy or ritual purposes. They were also used for trade. The process of head shrinking is a painstaking process that takes time and skill. Headhunting  been documented in the Amazon Rainforest, by the Jivaroan people and tribes from Peru and Equador. Highly sought among collectors, shrunken heads are a very rare collectable find.
